It's a lie, whether they catch you is another question, or if you are getting scammed is another question again.
Gotta ask, is it worth all the risks, or is it better to get an invite and then you can be just you without looking over your shoulder?
You makes your choices, you have to live with the consequences, do what you want to of course, but the warnings are all there.
