I'd suggest you try #whatcd-invites on IRC (just google for the server they're on) once you're into that site type "!queue" and you will be placed on an invitation list. I heard it takes around 2-3 hours to get a PM from a VIP/MOD and asked as to why you think you belong on what.cd? if you pass they give you an invite.
