whats the best P2P client to download off the edonkey2000 network ?
also are there any Java ones ?

Grab a copy of Shareaza. It connects to the Gnutella 1 & 2 Network that are much faster than the ed2k network, plus it can search the ed2k network also. So you have the best of both worlds..

just many p2p, it does not run on a USB stick. I installed it and it comes up error.

Oh, you're trying to get peer2peer client which runs on USB? If so, then search for 'portable' versions of Shareaza and other peer2peer clients.
