Do you ever play VOB's ? a sound question
Hi Guys
Sometimes, when I rip a movie I like to watch the individual vobs.
The reason is that I can watch one or two on my PC in a session without taking up half the day.
But often I find that if say a movie has 4 or 5 Vob's one or two of them revert to a directors commentary sound track or a foreign language say French or German or Spanish. But the rest play the English soundtrack. This is a pain and spoils the whole movie.
Does anyone else do this ? and have this happen to them? Or am I being silly and watching Vobs rather than converting the movie to an avi ?

If you don't feel like converting you can just rip the movie as an ISO and load it in Daemon Tools.

I looks like there is no way to do what i want.

Use the container mkv and codec h264 for high quality compressed video but i dont know a h264 dvd player.
i can compress a 700mb movie to 350mb with little to no loss of quality.
