Its fake, not true.

It's just a hoax.

It's for show. They can't be seen to be accepting them. As far as I'm aware, they'll shut down your account if they get a complaint. What that means is don't use public trackers and you should be okay. I'm alright with mine after a couple of weeks and ~2.5TB transferred.
