Any idea how much it's going to cost to get this repaired?
Is your OH mechanically inclined?

Re: My car has a fuel leak
MY OH is not allowed to do any sort of DIY after last week's shower disaster.
Just came back from the garage; £100 for a new tank and fitting of it. Not too bad.

I suppose you would be better off paying for someone to fix the tank, if he's bad with his hands; however, are you mechanically inclined?

My car has a fuel leak.
I fill it up every monday, but come friday it's nearly empty again.
I just don't know what to do about it :(

Replace the nut that holds the wheel.

Re: My car has a fuel leak
It is quite posh to have a fuel leak in these times.
I suggest you leave it so.
Congratulations on your first "extra unexpected mofo cost" of having a car, just a week after getting your license.
Please do not weld hole shut with gas inside.
