yeah i did that, tried fetch but it wouldn't connect. Thats why I decided to ask to see if anybody has a reliable one that works
Filezilla and CuteFTP are pretty popular clients maybe check them out,have used both on windows and they work good.
Transmit works best for me.
Use FTP from command-line to make sure it works locally.
