um... call them......
i did they.. i went online they said there was a problem with my modem and they fixed it. but they keep saying that every time.
Do you use a router? Some routers can get overheated from persistent connections, and have to be power cycled so they function again.
no router at all.
if ya got a friend close by try their modem..... I had kinda the problem and just bought a new modem. Amazing how cheaper they have gotten since i bought the first one..... Now i stay connected and my d/l speed jumped up alot too.... Appraently my old ass modem was 10/100 now i got 100/100....
Scientific Atlanta..... Its about half the size of my last one.......I too had a surfboard modem...
I also have an old ass modem its a surfboard SB100. What kind did you get and where did you get it? I dont want to buy it off comcrap.
Call them and ask what models are supported. Any cable modem should do though. With comcap, if you dont buy it yourself, its like 5 bucks a month to 'rent'.
Buy a SB5100 series. You can get one used for around $50. That should fix your problem.
I would get a 5120 since it has extra memory and won't suffer the buffer issues associated with torrenting.
ya i have a 5100
