this is not the first time i see some dork doing this kind of thing around here.
if you are a user of the "new posts" button as I am, this completely clutters all the board.

It certainly isn't spam.

You can set your bookmark to exclude all the sections you don't visit or don't want to see. That way, you will still see new posts, but only from the sections you want to see. There is a number in the URL after each section, so just edit my search string with your own sections and viola.

For example, Newsgroups is:

And you're right. It certainly isn't spam, it's retardation.

It shouldn't be allowed to post outside the BT section where you expect to find these kind of useless entities.

Obviously I thought he was referring to something else entirely.

There isn't much to do about thank you's in the NZB section though. They happen, a lot. It's part of the section.

This particular instance was obviously fluff though seeing as it was every NZB and some of them were the same show, only different release groups. I've PM'd the member and asked that he keep his thank you's to a minimum in the future.

He seems to be a very polite person.

say "thanks" or "ty" is never enough! but that can be solve with a "thanks button" on every thread 1º post that people think useful. There are threads like those that could be implemented. is just a thought.
