I had been playing gta 3 for about 5 months now but last week i came to play it again the guy would always go forward left. I fooled around with controls nothing happend. I uninstalled the game and installed again on 3 different partitions agian the problem is still there. I deleted all the gta 3 files in windows that i could find but the guy is still walking by himself. I need help!!!!!!! :(
By the way there is nothing wrong with the keyboard.

Do you have a gamepad thats connected? I had the same problem with a differant game, it solved it self when I unplugged the gamepad I had.

I have that problem with my Gravis controller sometimes. All I usually have to do is wiggle the stick around until it calibrates itself.
