Is there any way to upload personal videos on Youtube that are longer than 10 minutes ?
Under My Account, I have changed Channel Type to 'Director'. But I think that does not affect the video length.

I don't think normal users is able to upload longer than 10 mins pr. video, from what I have noticed is only approved by youtube-support for big corporates and other mainstream medias who get granted for longer videos than the 10 min limit.
Use Vimeo instead http://www.vimeo.com/
