Mldonkey...how Do U Get It Runnin?

I dl MlDonkey but im assuming its only the gui, so I think I need a core?? Where do I get that, everytime I try to start MlDonkey I get this: MLDonkey core could not be found on the configured host;try again?....Iim pretty lost cause all the web pages Ive checked are super super super confusing, anybody know what and how to do it?, thanx!

I have had a bad time trying to get a working win32 version. Becuse it not speifical made for windows. I sugest going with something else.
