Sound Problems When Playing Avi Files!

hi guys,

All the sound system works on my computer, but only when i play avi files then the picture is greatm but there is no sound.

i have kazaa codec pack instaled, and everything was working fine but sudenly no sound????. i tried reintaling codec pack but that didnt help either.

BTW i get sound and pic when playing them on videolan, but not on mediaplayer,powerdvd or bsplayer.

it has to be ur codes, im thinking this what going on wen u unistall ur codecs not all the codecs unistalled so try to unistall it manually

how do i do that, sorry i am a little noob about this.

first what version of windows r u using

Did u download the k-lite codec pack?

I am using XP pro and yes i dl kazaa codecs from kazaa lite home page. they were working fine but suddenly stoped working.
