most people just use index sites such as this one, but a.b.boneless is probably #1

Groups, not sites.
If you mean for fetching headers to browse through, the MP3 groups are probably ideal for that. Pick a music genre you like and see what people have posted - you may end up discovering a lot of artists you never knew existed.
Complete CD is also very good.
