If I Get A Mod Chip

I know you can play burned games with a mod chip but can you play vcd's?

I think so I don't really remember but u can play burned DVD's

Just search the web go to yahoo or google then type in modchip of type in your question (can modchip play vcd) then u will get your answer

IIRC, you can't play VCDs with just a modchip
you have to buy this adaptor thing which costs about £40ish.

Its has a wire conneting to the PS2 and on that wire a box is found, this is where the chips and stuff allow the ps2 to play VCDs.

Well I was actually looking for some first hand experience feedback on it like what mod chips were used and what type of results they got from an actual person.

careful installing.. u can blow the whole system if u screw up.

Not if u get a no-solder modchip.

I wouldnt play VCDs on my PS2 or even DVDs its not god for it really

also yes installing modchip can be dangerous for one thing your warrantly is f*cked once its in and it can burn out easy and goodbye ps2

If that ps2 goes out which I doubt will really happen just wait on ps3 to come out. I can't wait.
