one noob needs help to find out a site for metal music, but if it's possible to be a DD not torrent.

name of artist/album + file hosting site (megaupload, rapidshare, mediafire, etc.)

Just stumbled across this and remembered seeing this thread. It's got open-signup currently. Don't know if it is good or not, but filenetworks has never steered me into a crap site.
