Msn Messenger Service Down!

Shows you how incompetent Microsoft is :lol: :lol: :lol: .
If you realised, the entire messenger service was down for about 15-30mins, or more.

No one could sign in for some reason. I just had to make this announcement, so don't reply saying "The purpose of this post?".

Did anyone else suffer from the same problem? At about 1.45pm to 2.15 AWST (Aus), messenger service was down even though service status says it is up and runing.

First time in about the last 4-5yrs since I started using messenger that the srvice actually went down and not one person could sign in.

I heard they were planning to charge u to go waste time on their chat servers....hehehe. It would be a waste of money if people paid for using their servers...Oh that is only for certain places not the US. (as alwasy there are some dumb arses that will fall for it <_< )

ha, i dont think you would have known this

MSN messenger usually shuts down for maintanence service, this is nothing unsual

maintanence, yes, oh well, guess it's the first time for me. and a downtime of more than half hr. wow :lol:

Half hour? Pfft! Anyone remember when AOL's entire internet service went down for, like, a day? I was using the free 1000 hours I got in the mail at the time... a dark period in my internet life. :unsure: :)

I got a window pop up saying they were shutting down the service in 15 minutes.

they were probably doing some upgrading of software or hardware.

Yeah I got a message saying MSN would shut down in 15 minutes for maintence. It kept popping up the message became annoying so I just shut down MSN <_< ! It ain't anything new they always shut it down for maintence it has happened to me at least 10 times.
