Homecoming!

Today at 7 im going to be going to homecoming with my girlfriend. :D Is anybody else on this board going to homecoming this week.

Its a highschool dance the day after the homecoming football game. So they call it homecoming. :P

Too bad there usually pretty fun if you have a date. Heck there even fun if you dont have a date. :D

"Homecoming" is a time in the football season in which alumni are encouraged to return to their respective schools and meet at the game. It usually occurs midway through the season and for football it is usually in October.

It is generally accompanied by a party and always accompanied with beer.

I am assuming you use the terms "home team" vs "visiting team"

yea but this is a homecoming dance at the school so there is no beer there.

Here in the Uk it would be called a school re-union. Is that about right?
