Ok, I have this new computer, and there are those 2 things at the front. I have no idea what they're there for, they have the following subscripts:
1.CF/Microdrive
2. SM (above it), MS (left below), SD, MMC (right below)

I believe that the CF/Microdrive is a slot to put the card from a digital camera in and transfer data. Think Dazzle reader...
I have no idea what the other stuff is.

yeah, it did, but I left it somewhere when I was reading it and I won't be able to get it back until next week....I just wanted to know what it is right now :lol:
Hey its prob a Media Reader...it reads all different kinds of memory...Digi cam mem, flashmemory, all that kind of stuff...thats my best guess....i know the HPs have built in ones

If its a shiny black HP then its a media reader prob

very convienent if you've got lots of devices that use that sort of thing...digital cameras, secure digital cards, etc.
