I would suggest running dr.web cureit, and scan for suspicious files and registry keys with hijackthis. you could also try super anti-spyware. these are all free software but they will need an internet connection to be updated.
and if you can get your hands on a copy of spyware doctor i would highly suggest that, it has to be registered to remove the infections though.

Personally I'd just take the previous advice and download and run super anti-spyware free or an online anti-virus scan like eset or bitdefender or f-secure or norton or trend or a-squared or comodo ....well you get the idea.
