Norton Antivirus 2004 Activatoin Key?

About Norton Antivirus 2004.
I cet my activation key from 6 bloks, each blok has 4 numbers or letter totaal is that 6x4 + 5x-=29 ....-....-....-....-....-.... but when i type this in the productkey the buton light not on only when i put 1 letter or number then he light on but the productkey is invalid????Why is mis 1 number????
