this will probably be of interest to a lot of the movie fans on this forum. dan o'bannon died yesterday. o'bannon was the script writer behind alien, total recall, and dark star. he also wrote & directed the punk rock horror comedy return of the living dead.

I'd be a whole lot sadder if I wasn't sure that he was already re-animated and off some place happily munching on some unfortunates brain.
