Looking for a old game.... childhood memories
I’m looking for an old game so old that I forgot its name and lost it somewhere along the way, so I’m hoping you can help me.
Ok hers what I remember about it
Genre: Strategy
setting: Medieval
graphics: looked 2d (from what I remember top down only)
Game play:
you are fighting some evil overlord or something (rebellion?!?!) you start out attacking one region and from there you upgrade your castle or make units
and send them out to attack (watch out though the food trends to run out and you’ll die)
im totaly lost on this and cant find it my self im sure it was some sucky crap but i liked it eather way

that must be something like age of empires but I know that AOE is not the one you're looking for =P

Did you post this question on Gamespot? Cause it sounds familiar to one I answered a couple days ago. I don't know about the overlord part, but it might be Medieval: Total War. If not, that's a pretty awesome older game.

No it’s not medieval: Total War
it’s older than that, only had some 2d graphics (from what I remember).
I might haw typed a bit wrong but I mean
A over world view" you look top down”
it’s really old like 90-99 but the game play is similar to medieval: total war

sometimes I don't remember the name of things but if I see it I can instantly say if it's what I was trying to remember...
well, since it's a game, you could try looking at this list at gamespot:

It's searching for strategy Games, for PC, starting from the oldest games to the more recent ones... if you're sure it's from the 90', just skip until them.

i dunno but i renember playing it when i was like 8-12 years old xDDD
it looks like lord of the realm yes but thats not it :|
