Is posting on the Internet the same as being in your car
I think it was either George Carlin or Bill Hicks that commented that if you are a pedestrian on the sidewalk and you see an old lady trying to cross you will help her cross the road, you will call her ma'am, generally be polite and feel good about yourself for helping. But the moment you get into your car that old lady is in your way and you want to run her over if she doesn't shift her old butt any faster.
Are you Dr. Jekyll in real life and Mr Hyde online?

Who said I would be polite and help the old lady cross the road in the first place?

I just killed a pheasant on the way to work this morning. Woe betide any tards that cross my path on the internets today :sly:
Re: Is posting on the Internet the same as being in your car
I've killed so many Wallabies on the way to work the insurance company refuses to pay for it anymore.
They're quiet heavy creatures, you don't know how heavy they are till you hear your bumper drag on the road to your destination . I;ve seriously considered getting a 4x4 vehicle
Re: Is posting on the Internet the same as being in your car
Apparently even if an animal jumps out in front of you, according to the insurance companies it's a "Fault" claim, i.e. YOUR FAULT.
Not fair really. I've never hit a wallaby - you don't get many of those in Sussex, but I did hit a deer once. Caused £450 of damage to my car.
P.S. I know what a wallaby is by the way, you don't need the wiki link ;)

You can't pretend for long on the internet. What you are like in real life eventually shows through.

Insurance round these parts call it a "act of god"...now how can that be an act of god if you don't believe?
