Life in reverse
I do often feel like I am taking crazy pills. Current topics of conversation here and other places often include 'how's the snow?' 'That storm was really harsh'
'it's been raining for days', when here it is the middle of a blazing hot summer, with humidity that could suck the will from a stone statue..........
The other hilarious example is chatting on IRC, everyone is going 'god it's late'
'I can't believe I'm still up, I have to go to work/school etc in a few hours', while I am calmly having lunch. It's enough to give you a complex!

Re: Life in reverse
Oh so true to the youtubey vid idol, but weird factoid number 1043, Aussie has more sheep, waaaay more sheep 120 million of the shaggy retards in fact, along with strangely enough, the largest herd (or whatever a group of frikkin camels is called) of wild camels in the world.
Which of course begs the joke:
What do you call an Aussie with 500 blonde girlfriends ?
A shepherd!

Re: Life in reverse
Remind me not to date an aussie, but then again Im not a blonde so I guess all's well.
Skiz: I hear Sidney's a lovely place, but haven't been myself. Got it on my to-travel-to list.

Re: Life in reverse
I'd like to get a different degree and why not go overseas to do it? I can't think of a good reason...
Melbourne is the only other city I know, but I don't know squat about their college system.

Re: Life in reverse
Actually Sear the next time he pops up would be a good person to ask, although out of the two cities Melbourne is definitely the more cultural, Sydney is just more famous.
