I just been trying to copy vid to vid, a old original wrestling tape, but as soon as i press record the picture becomes disstorted for a few secs then the tone of the picture keeps changing, then back to the distortment. Can any one help, and try and get me past this problem, if this tape is copy protected?

wrong topic...explain wat stuff you are using, like tv tuner or vcr

its called macro-vision
need a box that disables it or if you got a older vcr that doesn't have the chip in it, like the old top mount one
