Go to the signup page of the site your after, copy the url and paste it in to the site above. When that site changes in any way you will get an email to the account you appointed to the task.

This works. Remember when demonoid was down and getting back up again? Well the news was there but the site took a while to follow. I then used changedetection.com and I got an email within the same minute that Demonoid came back up.
