i recently downloaded finding nemo and wanted to put it on vcd but it is mpeg2 instead of mpeg1 does anyone know how to convert or of any programmes or decoders that i can download please reply thanks in advance

Im pretty sure you can do this with Tmpgenc but im not positive. But I know that it will take a while to convert. You can get it HERE

you say it is mpeg 2.
is that dvd or svcd ?
regardless, i use Nero 6.0 with the mpeg 2 svcd plugin.
you just drag and drop the VOB file into browser
and encode to vcd or svcd.
another easy prog is InterVideo WinDVD Recorder 5
or InterVideo WinDVD Creator . just drop whole movie into timeline
and export as vcd or svcd click burn and your all done.

There isa guide there for converting.
MainConcept mpeg encoder will do it and it is easy to use if you do get it the newer version has a few more features it is shareware tho
