Has anyone tried this one so far?
Looks good, a bit like utorrent for .NZBs.

Sounds interesting. Looks to be lacking features maybe?
I'm going to try it.
Seems the same approach as utorrent though. 355Kbs is the size of the download.
Maybe something to try... Only thing it seems to be missing for my use is that auto import thingie you get with Altbinz so you don't have to open the NZB files.
Would like to get rid of the nazi protection that Albinz use too :P
Correction... both versions support multiple servers, but the standalone version does not support repair and unpack.
tried it. its terrible.
ssl doesnt work, has no realtime speed monitor, only 1 server at a time..
tried the full version. it couldn't connect to astraweb. on the plus side it has a nice easy to use design.
I'm using AstraWeb and everything works fine for me, what error do you get?
I like this app a lot! It's easy and clean, not cluttered like alt.binz. I have no problems with it being single server, if you have a good isp then 1 should be enough.
All together this is looking very promising, you don't need to run a webserver like sabnzbd and its very fast.
Update: They released version 1.6
Quote:
+ Fixed AstraWeb issues
+ Fixed broken SSL
+ Added multi-server support (by popular request)
+ Added option to disable update checker
+ Complete overhaul of the settings panel
+ Minor GUI Tweaks
I'm not a Usenet expert at all, but I gave this a test drive yesterday on the Just4Today server with a NZB from here. Speeds would stay at zero, then peak to ~350kB/s for a second, then drop to zero again for a few seconds, then peak again, and so on...
I'll see if 1.6 solves this.
Still the same. :dabs:
