Directx

I forget how to check my current version of DirectX

Go to start>>>run and type in dxdiag, it pops up, check for the directX version not dxDiag Version.

Hmm.. it says I have DirectX9, but my game that reqs it will not work.. oh well

You probably need the DirectX 9.03b runtime, its on the microsoft update site. I had some games that wouldnt work ands that was the prob.
