Help me set up FTP and be rewarded!
Hey... A few years back I was in a few scene FTP rings and amassed quite a collection .......
anyway
I completely forgot how to set up an FTP behind a wireless router, etc.
Help me out by creating a step by step guide to configuring the FTP Server behind a wireless router... And....
In return I'll give you leech access to my FTP. What do I have? Here is my list (which will be updated soon):

I will be using Gene6 FTP server to run the ftp, unless there is a superior program out there these days
Thanks for reading

Re: Help me set up FTP and be rewarded!
Thanks for the link, but here is my problem (this was always the problem and reason I've had to seek out help every time I try to set up an FTP)
1. I decided to use FILEZILLA FTP SERVER and My Local IP is 192.168.2.2
2. I'm obviously running the server off the Router's IP so...
3. I set a port range of 5300-5307, enabled TCP/UDB ports in WINDOWS FIREWALL
4. I also enabled the port range (port forwarding) of 5300-5307 in my Router settings
5. The FTP runs off the port 753, I tried adding an exception for 753 in both Windows Firewall and the Router Settings
6. *** AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK ***
7. EVERY PORT RELATED TO THE FTP (21, 753, 5300-5307) IS NOW OPEN THROUGH MY LOCAL IP SO WHAT AM I MISSING????
Anyone?
NEVERMIND!!! Just got it working! Thanks guys

Good choice using filezilla that's what I used to use :)
