uTorrent 3.0 alpha is out
The popular BitTorrent application uTorrent is pushing out their first 3.0 alpha release, merging a couple of their previous test builds to combine remote access via their very cool Falcon web-access feature with uTorrent's standard 2.1 beta. In addition to bug fixes, this build also adds the ability to disable UDP trackers, while slightly revamping the look of the client.
Re: uTorrent 3.0 alpha is out
do all trackers even allow 2.0.2 yet?

Why would anyone want to do that? They use less bandwidth than HTTP ones.

The vast majority does.

That extra security on the login is truly great, and looks very professional.
Also the web gui looks a little better with the graphical updates to it.
It was obvious that utorrent's goal was too make the web gui more accessible by everyday users.
As for a normal-below normal user setting up your ports and webgui could be a pain.

/me hopes a Linux version will drop when v3.0 drops!!

Making it open source would also be awesome.
But i really doubt that will happen just by reading their faq:

- Is µTorrent open source?
No. It is not likely to become open source.
