Well I was gonna make one back when I staffed, but I was too lazy. There are alot of roadblocks to making a public irc channel work properly, and then even if we worked hard to clear them all, it would just be stabbing ourselves in the leg because we want the forum as active as possible.
Real-time public troubleshooting for filesharing would be a big step forward but afaik noone here has the inspiration to bother :P
i see i see. just thought it might've been useful for ppl online to chat for help, but i suppose that would take away the function of the forum..
that's a shame though, it would've been nice
