Re: New Build - Thoughts?
AMD just dropped the prices on most of their CPUs last week. I'm wondering if a new generation is about to be released. Also, it usually takes a couple of weeks for the price drop to trickle down.

750 W is LOADS to power that, you'd get away easily with 600 if you could. just make sure to get a reputable brand, so if it craps up and shorts anything you're covered. Silent PSU's are nice too, you dn;t even notice them running :)

I wouldn't change the PSU... In my opinion, it's never a bad idea to invest a little bit more into a better PSU and you'll probably keep it when you next upgrade your rig.
What's the resolution you use to play your games? Depending on it, I would probably think about a better graphic card. (And if you already have a good nVidia graphic card, I would consider a Radeon to run with it using hybrid physX).

I figured 750W would probably be too much, but you've got to admit that 100% modular design is the cats arse. The only other fully modular PSU is by Seasonic themselves, with the lowest wattage being 650W for the same price ($199.99).
