I was thinking of investing in Virtual DJ 6.1.2. I want to be able too use it with a microphone recording over the track,in sync with the program. Also to edit and mix certain songs. Any info is appreciated.

I looked at some screens of it and it looked pretty legit....
What kind of djing are you planning on doing? Like birthday parties and weddings.. Or like custom mixes
All depends on what you want. If you BUY it (as in shell out real monies for it) you tend to get a set of USB decks which make it dead handy. Editing songs is a different kettle of fish though, but mixing (mashups etc) will be perfect with VDJ

Adobe audition is a good program for mixing music. It is for custom made mixtapes and parties,etc.
I am looking for a good (free if possible)voice synthesizer program also.?
