ISP traffic shaping...next line of defence...?
My current ISP has taken measures to limit P2P usage and other ISPs have adopted similar policies like FUPs and caps....If some ISPs can actually limit P2P usage, it's just a matter of time before all ISPs decide to do this....are there any ways to counter it?

A VPN encrypts all your traffic. That should get through most shapers unless they're simply throttling any kind of traffic they can't recognize.
If you use BitTorrent, uTorrent in uTP-only mode can also work.
