I remember seeing chess content at bitme. But it will be hard to join and I have no invites yet :( .
Chess has its popularity there , you may want to check their irc and maybe you will get lucky getting an invite.
Or you can try TL and IPT...
LearnBits and DocsPedia have 2 or 3 materials on chess.

but i finally found the best place on the interwebs for chess stuff and its not a torrent site but a forum.
it seems like its the place where everything leaks first.
