I don't think anyone wants to gift me a surprise invite. what's the story? anyone else got and email like this?

TheSwarm is a movie tracker. It got its own article on FSF last year.

A friend of mine also got this e-mail. It'd look like they're spamming people with invites.

Assuming they aren't using fake names for publicity, keep in mind that these are the people that ran PTP into the ground. pham had the big donation scandal among other things, and if I recall correctly it was due to jerrcs that the root passwords were leaked and their databases were compromised. So yeah... tread lightly.

I want to start up a tracker now, and I want to call it The Tracker.
