astraweb's speed this week especially on old files

im getting very bad speed on old files from AW atm
and in the evening(gmt) its slower than usually with new fiels as well
wtf is happening out there?



when i do tracert now AW has this
4 50 ms 49 ms 49 ms nikhef.openpeering.nl [195.69.144.189]
5 52 ms 52 ms 52 ms openpeering-nik.searchtech.nl [82.150.154.219]
6 59 ms 59 ms 58 ms 91.208.207.157

i remember that openpeering shite is used also by blocknews whch is known by their speed problems

and this is part from my tracer to supernews(that works much better in terms of speed now)

PS + per-user connection limit reached errors are often seen

ive just tried AW again and got swarmed with per-user account limit reached wtf

and its getting more and more ridiculous

i closed my connnections 10 min ago, started again there are no speed shown at all for almost all connections and then they die(per-user limi reached)..

rofl now everything has just died

I transfered a 50GB+ file, over 750 days old, from Astraweb/US, this last Wednesday.

Nothing untoward happend, at my bitrate of 20Mb/s+. Others with 'insane' (and for my loaction, unobtainable) speeds may find something different.

I run tracert all the time to Astraweb/US (some 2-3 times a day at least), mainly to 'test out' my VPN, but I'd notice something going off the tracks pretty fast. Last time something happend was last Sunday PM, where I noticed one of the 'standard' off the tracks operation going on for 2-3 hours. Then everything worked fine for all the way through the rest of the week (and continues until now).

I noticed the same speed issues and not even on old stuff. Here lately i haven't had any issues but for a few days i was getting speed and connection issues in Newsbin Pro.

Now its OK again.. i noticed on some forums users had this issue yesterday too
