What's so good about PassThePopcorn, Cinemageddon, Karagarga, GOEM & TEHConnection?
I keep hearing these are the best trackers for movies but all the have is old movies. Mostly old foreign movies. I love movies but aren't the best movies from Hollywood? Why would you want a tracker that doesn't have the latest movies from Hollywood? I have been on some of these trackers and literally could not find one decent movie to download. Maybe I am missing something, if so please help inform me. I guess the people who like these trackers prefer old movies to new...

PTP, Goem, and TC all have the latest movies, you're definitely missing something or failing at searching. Out of those options, PTP would have the biggest selection.
As for Karagarga and Cinemageddon... their entire existence is based around those older movies. So obviously they'd be a poor choice.

Name some "good" movies(no really).
Also movies are like music ,tastes tend to vary and what you like is often determined by factors other than actual merit.
Me for instance I like happy endings and anything mjmacky hates.

recent movies i watched that I though were good are Hesher, super 8 (decent), source code (decent), 5 days of war. These movies were worth watching but no were near my top favorites. Can you please name some movies on one those trackers that are "good" movies.

Every single one of those movies was on PTP btw.
IdolEyes tends to like Jim Belushi movies. Only in HD, of course.

I have not ever been on ptp or theconnection but heard they are simlar to Cinemageddon, Karagarga, & GOEM. I can see how he could like John Belushi, but Jim kinda sucks. John being dead for 30 years i bet all his movies would be on these trackers.

Thanks.
Looking at your list 5 days of war I've never seen.Renny Harlan kind of a shite director but his A Long Kiss Goodbye isn't too bad except maybe for the end. Other movies in a similar vein to 5 Days of War (maybe not having seen it ) of quality are The Year of Living Dangerously (interesting because the woman from NCIS Los Angeles- Linda Hunt won an Oscar for playing a man in it) and Salvador with James Woods(really good movie -Oliver Stone's first big splash in my mind better than Platoon which followed) which brings me to The Killing Fields which is the best of the lot|
Source Code try Nick of Time with a young(ish) Johnny Depp .No time travel but some stylish direction by the always interesting John Badham using the 24 formula of real time but predating that show by almost a decade.
There's also Deja Vu with Denzel Washington which is in a lot of ways very similar to Source Code but (see my review in the movie section) I found to be much better . There's also Frequency which is good and more plausible in an implausible sort of way.
Super8 with all the hype I was really looking forward to but it left my underwhelmed as the emotions seemed forced and took far too much a back seat to the fx( and the alien wasn't even that cool).
If you haven't seen The Goonies or Stand by Me or (unbelievably)E.T. or Close Encounters of the Third Kind I suggest you do so and see either coming of age or alien encounter or both gone right.
Hesher two words Sling Blade
Also The Mysterious Skin (again with Gordon-Levitt) pushes all the right buttons
and The Lookout - seedy and keeps you guessing.
Btw I know I'm not really answering what you asked but little point in regurgitating the IMDB top 250.
Also my advice is Google who good directors are and try watching some of their stuff as the directors more than the actors ,more than the writers ,more than anyone involved ,seeing as it's their "vision" determine if a movie is any good or not.

You've been clearly misinformed. PTPC and TC are general movie trackers, and I think so is GoEM. CG and KG cater to different interests - B-movies and foreign/non-mainstream ones, respectively.
My thoughts when I read your first post were the same as ca_aok's - it's impossible for a new Hollywood movie not to be on the first two sites you mentioned.

I hate turtles
In actuality I don't really dig movies as much as I do my anime and some TV series. When it does come to movies, my favorites have a bit of age on them. On the other hand, these tend to be easily found, not requiring a membership at a specialty tracker.
Hulu did a criterion collection thing, which gave me a chance to revisit some awesome stuff from days back (Seven Samurai, Zatoichi) and discover ones I've never heard of but found the plot interesting and resulted in loving it (Kapo). Then there were movies that I just said, what the fuck, how much time did I just waste? I imagine this is pretty much the experience for most people on those specialty trackers. Then again, I'm just extrapolating.
In the end, foreign/independent film fans will be the ones who migrate to that site, is it so surprising they'll praise it so highly?
And just to list my credentials just enough so that all can take my post seriously, my favorite "older" movies are Airplane & Blazing Saddles, everything else that roams high on my list ran between 1994-1999 from what I can tell (Usual Suspects, Office Space, Leon, Pulp Fiction, Big Lebowski), and they can be found on any tracker.
Re: What's so good about PassThePopcorn, Cinemageddon, Karagarga, GOEM & TEHConnectio
Goem is a much smaller site (11K torrents compared to 76K on PTP) so obviously some stuff will be missing. I've heard they have a very nice community though (and not in the 0-day pretentious 12 year old level 11 1337 crap way), but I've never really participated in it much. Movies aren't exactly my primary content when in comes to downloading. Despite PTP being the source of constant drama and failures at the hands of the staff team, they arguably have the largest collection of movies outside of a general tracker like Demonoid. And things do seem to be running more smoothly after the coup that moved them to .me, so hopefully things keep working well. I'd recommend you check it out, I don't think invites are hard to come by.

You're thinking of his brother John. I thought you were supposed to know a fair bit about movies?
