And there's the reason you should never buy an Ubisoft game, console or PC.
Forgive me if I'm wrong but aren't console games usually out before PC? All you have to do is dump the iso, with PC you have to do a crack and a NoCD patch. Also the argument about console firmware is about as valid as Ubisoft's statement. So far I'm not really happy with any Publisher and Indie games have terrible budgets (and it shows aesthetically in the end product)I really want to like EA, mainly because of DICE
Good? I loved the original PC Ghost Recons. Spent hours creeping through the tall grass sniping everyone in sight. Whatever that piece of crap other arcade shooter was wasn't worth any time at all, oh yeah, Ghost Recon boring as shit. Same for Rainbow 6. i spent hours getting my teams to take the 747 because in that one you *had* to rely on teammates to get them all without losing a hostage. The later ones became arcade shooters. Ubisoft hates the PC because it is more expensive to develop for people with a freaking brain instead of button mash syndrome.
I wouldn't care if there was an option for a good keyboard and mouse set up for an X360.
Haha wasn't Ubisoft at the top of the DRM issue a few years back? And now look at them, they couldn't figure out the market.... I just laugh! It was mentioned right in this article... it's a service issue! Provide a benefit to legitimate users that pirates can't receive and you will create the demand. Idiots!
Definitely. Except I played them on console. Even Advanced Warfighter, that was so well-received(and I thought was pretty good as well) was nowhere near as good as the first couple in the series. Especially the original.
They really need to go back and discover what they did in the beginning that made those games so great.
eat a dick ubisoft... that's my message to you.
funny how they still have new brothers in arms, new assassins creed, far cry 3, HOM&M VI, new rainbow six and Anno 2070 on PC. they must know how quality the game is if they know it isnt going to sell.
So I wonder what will happen when the majority of people currently using the xbox360 get knowledgeable enough to spend 10 minutes flashing their xbox or pay the local flashing guy the $25 to get it done for them. I wonder how Ubisoft will feel then. It's kind of a moot statement, they don't even have accurate statistics of pirated xbox games. Ubisoft provides a shit service to us PC gamers, and as a result of their shitty service stops providing the service because we dont want to use it? Grow up Ubisoft, people dont even want to play your crummy games anyways. The people who pirate them are just bored at the time and needed something to do for a few hours, ie the entire length of your games.
