what.cd android app?

i was just on the what.cd irc and noticed a channel for a what.cd android app? anyone know what that's all about? some kind of joke?

There's more than one iirc. I think there's one that's like an improved mobile version of the site. Then there's What?BC which makes use of the barcodes on CDs for cataloging and comparison purposes. Handy if you're out at a CD shop or if you have a huge music collection and want to know quickly whether something exists on site. I'm pretty sure you can also download torrents based on the barcode.
