As a consumer, Nokia purchasing Symbian became a huge disappointment. The support for other manufacturers running Symbian seemed to be non existent. Getting apps was the same pain in the ass, the "market" being accessible only from Nokia devices, if it worked at all. So it basically came down to scouring the internet and different forums for sis and sisx packages (if the links were still live). Then of course there's the UI issue, but I don't feel like commenting about that since it's been done before. I think it's been just over a year since I said bye to Symbian, glad I didn't wait until the name died off.

I love Nokia phone but hate symbian......
