i have 2 PS3's and both were updated. No problems at all. I think the people that are bitching have moded consoles that lock up after the firmware update. :dabs:

if they are modded they wouldnt be updating.

2 consoles here also and have experienced no problems still watching netflix and battlefielding like a baus. ;)

Good to hear of this. I'm usually not an early adopter of firmware releases, but I'll wait this one out. Better safe than sorry.
