Has the sky fallen on filesharing, or what?
Regarding the announcements that ISPs were going to watch our "illegal" activities, and make us pay- has anyone seen a notice, threat, etc.?
We are well into the end of all evil-doing on the interwebs, seems like there would be some news of it...
Anyone?...:idunno:

It wasn't too long along that there was a thread here or at Torrentfreak or both that announced that the startup of this had been postponed.

Well that sucks if this really goes through. I use newsgroups for 90% of my files, so I'm not really all that concerned. But now I'm wondering if I should rent a cheapo seedbox to get the few files I do grab from bittorrent.
I'll cross that bridge if I ever get any notices. Until then I'm going to continue to download like I usually do.
And also this eases the mind a bit more as Verizon is my ISP. Anyways, the few bittorrent sites that I do occasionally grab from are private. So again, i'm not all that worried about this bullshit six strikes law.

What would you have to worry about other than your neighbor's internets getting cut off?
Re: Has the sky fallen on filesharing, or what?
Let's hope not. Without Demonoid I am already starting to get the shakes a little bit from withdrawl. I couldn't imagine my nefarious activities being shut down completely.

And that whole Demonoid issue... just got worse.
