Is it still true that newsgroups impossible to use with AT&T?

AT&T are my current ISP provider but apparently since June 8th 2009 they have entirely blocked usenet? Is there *any* workaround for this or am I gonna need to find a new ISP?

You misunderstand. They simply discontinued their usenet service. As in, what they provided to their own customers free gratis. Any of the premium providers will work fine on top of AT&T service.

Provider-included NNTP with bin-groups, those were the days.

I miss newsgroup discussion groups. :<
