DU meter

Hi all, on here from the matrix....
I wonder if anyone can help me.. I cant open some downloaded files in win 8..... everything downloads, but when I click the exe nothing happens ?

Did you get these files from a shoddy site promising high-speed downloads of anything you searched for?
