Search engines aren't infallible. They miss or omit things for myriad of reasons. Maybe they weren't set to parse or index that particular group? Perhaps there was a hiccup or delay with the headers at the time it was cataloging the content you mentioned? Shit happens.

A fairly high number of times, when using nzbindex or binsearch, or checking propagation on a server or two, I'll run into where it 'reports' certain blocks missing, or an entire posting missing. I'll re-run the EXACT same query, and come up with different results. I'll transfer the thing from the original nzb (which is why I always ask folks having problems, did you use a nzb generated from a search site OR the original posted nzb?) and zero errors.
Bad programming, or bad programming on top of flaky database, take your pick. Then again, maybe it's 'flaky' on purpose...
