Its pretty much true that all commercial bluray movies, ripped and released to the scene are ripped with either
DVD-FAB or AnyDVD-HD.... so, with DVD FAB recently being busted, and then this happens the other day.......>>>

If the scene grouos rely on those programs, and they vanish... what then?

Clearly I am missing something in assuming that they already possess the necessary software and come a worst case scenario(yeah I kill me) all they need to do is run them on an outdated OS.
Anyway on topic of things that I am more realistically afraid of.....
Having my house burn down because frankly that takes less effort than having to go all the way out to the garage to get a ladder to change the battery in the smoke detector.
Shark Week but oddly not actual sharks.
Trees with obvious bad intent in their eyes.
That some day in the not too distant future, the English language will be reduced to sentences like "U <3 me lol".

AACS-LA's tithings coming up a bit short this quarter? Those two proggies aren't the only games in town. Plus, Fab's other domains are alive and kicking as we speak.

Yeah, Makemkv can also rip the protection from BDs. There will always be a work around, even if they could not extract the video and audio 1:1 people would be able to get the data off a HDMI output.
No matter what happens with the ripping software there will always be scene movie releases.
