By the same bizarre logic, people also bet on who will be the first member to leave One Direction therefore discussion on One Direction also belong in the Sports Section.
You are focusing on the logic of him mis-classifying his post, Idol? How about the fact that he's lost a few hundred dollars on online gambling AND hopes to get it back.

I never thought I'd ever bet, always seemed to be a mugs game. However, I play an internet game, which has many side attractions, one of which allows you to use in game money to bet with. So I am playing around, trying to find a good way to win, plus it is risk free :)
